A is All About Me

1.  All About Me Blocks to share with the class

2. This was 3-D art and family involved

3. We made an All About Me Poster

4. Graphed our eye color

5. Discussed what we wanted to be when we grow up Ms. Anna wants to be a rock star!

M is for Munching Mouth

1. He brought monsters to estimate

2. He likes to munch food that starts with the /m/ sound.

3. M is made of 4 big lines. We start at the top when writing an M.

4. We sorted m&m candies into colors and of course then ate them!

5. Learned to discriminate the beginning /m/ sound in words.

Theme: The Kissing Hand &

Jiggle Worms (Nervous Feelings)

All About Me Block

All About Me

Block

1. Save a Capri Sun box or another type of juice box.

2. Stuff box full of newspaper and tape shut.

3. Wrap box in a plain colored paper: gift wrap would work well as would Butcher paper.

4. Decorate the block with pictures and favorite things. 

Ideas: family, favorite color, vacation spot, food, superhero, princess, games, sports, the sky’s the limit.

5. Finally wrap block in clear contact paper for durability.  We will keep these blocks in the block center.

6. Your child will present this at school next week.  You may bring in the block starting Tuesday, September 14^th until Thursday September 16^th.

7. Work a little every day, so your child enjoys this fun, family project!

S is for Supply List

It is time to get ready for school!  Please bring the following items with you on the information days between 9 - 12:00.  Thank you in advance!

• Tote bag or backpack
• an 8 count package of paper towels
• 1 box gallon ziploc bags
• 1 bottle white Elmer's glue
• 2 pack of glue sticks
• 1 box Kleenex
• 1 box wet wipes (we get messy)
• an 8 pack of party favor type toys (for treasure box)
• 1 bottle Clorox Anywhere spray
• 1 three-ring binder (1 & 1/2" wide) with protective title cover.
